I believe that we all have the ability to reach our finest potential. You don't have to be an athlete to be healthy and fit. You don't need to be that competitive, but you do have to want it badly enough to do something about it. I'm here to guide when you are ready to make that jump in the right direction.  I specialize in weight management and special populations. People who are having difficulty with their weight or are trying to overcome a sedentary lifestyle or injury find me an empathetic instructor.

Favorite Exercises I love leg day. It sounds strange but the intensity of the workout and the sheer volume of weight being moved really gets me.  I really love team and individual sports when they are played with a fast tempo and some intensity.  Pushing my body feels great and keeps me on my toes.

Kathleen Hale is a graduate of the Conservatory of Music and Dance Department at U.M.K.C. and has certification in Pilates mat instruction.  With over twenty years of teaching experience, Kathy has seen numerous clients experience profound changes by rediscovering the natural alignment of the body.  Joint problems, back pain, osteoarthritis, scoliosis, or just the aches and pains of aging can be transformed through the strengthening and flexibility work of Pilates.  

She teaches classical Pilates, a smooth flowing sequence as taught by Joseph Pilates,
as well as specialty classes combining dance, gyrokinesis and resistance stretching techniques.

Kansas City native Monique “Mo” McDaniel has over five years experience in group exercise and personal training. Mike Rutherford has two personal training programs, Boot Camp Fitness and CrossFit Training which are described below:

BOOT CAMP FITNESS is an intensive results oriented conditioning program that runs Monday through Friday.   Each class session is three weeks in duration. The program is conducted in a variety of inside and outside environments utilizing the world's greatest gym-your body! Sami Papacek is a personal trainer, cancer exercise specialist and fitness educator. She has been in the fitness industry for almost 10 years. She started weight training and aerobics when she was 15 years old, discovering how much she enjoyed the mental and physical benefits that she received.

 

After moving to Kansas in 2003, Sami worked for a large health club before venturing out on her own. She loves that the she has the ability to work with individuals from various backgrounds, each with different goals. She has experience with weight loss, pilates, core conditioning, as well as cancer survivor exercise plans. Sami is currently working on a breast cancer exercise program starting in Kansas City this year.
